Unnamed Book

I wrote the book below as a gift for someone I wasn't sure I would see again. I wanted to write them a story but the more I worked the more my the project expanded until I found myself with a book press researching how to make a leather cover.

The final version took the form of two stories. The first was a myth and the second was a children's story. While the words are my own I am not a competent visual artist in any medium and so the pictures are heavily modeled on more talented artist's works and I can take no credit for them beyond having held the pencil that made these specific versions. All-in-all it took me far longer than expected but it was some of the most fun I've ever had on an art piece. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed making it
