Born again

And again by my own hand

Against my will

Sure this hip will ache forever

Peaceful towering clouds

And a promise of rain

Just beneath the skin

My hands have been emptied of

Rightness and goodness and

The will to grasp and hold

I worry now that youll see me

If you looked

My rebellion abandoned

Arms outstretched against the sky

Embracing gravity and the fall
