The thrumming note beneath the soil
Vast stones begin to strain
Great terra, firm, in natal toil
Pulse quickens, spark to flame
Bashir reads stars and mercury
The coming of decree
The prism of Sophia’s eye
Seeks seeks blooded prophecy
Barakus roused begins to sway
The bass note of the storm
A feast, a war, a lover’s purr
Draws breath for coming form
Great Daas in silence fixes gaze
Toward patterns in the ash
His blade aloft for fissure’s point
Just lightning seeking flash
For Adolas has given call
Creation is to be
With shallow breath her children wait
What blossoms on the tree?
For holy Bys has turned his sight
Foretelling of the maw
And all must bear in coming days
The rending of the law
