Who you are is not enough.

At least the pieces that you gift.

Another mask, another mirror

another wall against the risk

This death by a thousand hungers

has left wild furrows in my mind

I need to split the sails you tighten.

Unanchored song lays stitch in time.

What can I say to you?

you cannot change, the new child dies.

What can I learn from you?

Just endless movies in my mind.

But if I break, can I borrow

The weapons of your apathy,

your shield against tomorrow?

"Kill the raven." Spake the crow
