Moving brings a sense of waitlessness
Still,
the second hand isn't smooth
Lurching, shuddering, steps, forward
Quivering between now and now
You sense it, the weight upon your soles
The heaviness of time
You will feel it
When the toys that meant everything are finally tossed out
And their las words have been recorded over.
Careless repetition
